Core Drilling

Core drilling is the use of a portable drill press to drill holes into concrete. The bits used are either diamond or carbide tipped. The holes can be drilled perpendicular to the concrete or drilled at almost any angle. Core drilling is used for creating a hole in concrete walls or floors for pipe penetrations, bollard installations, testing the depth of the concrete, testing the quality of the concrete, new holes for anchors, drill out existing anchors to replace them with new anchors, etc.
